Through the website I got talking to Blake Sporne. Blake has taken the dive into being a ‘freelance’ video analyst and while we were sharing some ideas he alerted me to a video he had taken a few weeks back.
He basically had one camera at the end of the pitch primarily focused on the referee and the other camera was a bullet-cam attached to a cap the referee was wearing. I think this is a fantastic idea and a novel way to use video. I’m sure the referee can see more than the bullet-cam shows but it gives a good idea of what he sees and his positioning on the pitch.
Blake is an independent video analyst and you can contact him on vidanalysis.service@gmail.com
Has anybody tried something similar that they want to share or got any comments on how valuable something like this is?
