Video Analysis Intern

As a Video Analysis Intern at AZ Alkmaar’s Youth Academy, you’ll join the General Support team and play a key role in the development of both players and staff. Using the latest technologies, your work will help simulate match situations and provide critical insights into performance and progression.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the operations of a professional football organization and develop your skills as a video analyst. You’ll support in identifying and nurturing top talent, all while learning the full scope of football analysis.
Your Responsibilities
- Record and process video footage from matches and training sessions
- Code footage to identify key moments and trends
- Generate data and insights to support coaches and players
- Assist in the creation of tactical presentations and visual scenarios
- Organize and maintain video archives in line with club procedures
What We’re Looking For
- A proactive and independent mindset
- Strong ability to distinguish relevant information and respond to ad hoc requests
- Comfortable assisting with presentations and providing tactical insights
- Available on weekdays and Saturdays (flexible scheduling is provided)
- Strong command of Dutch (spoken and written)
