Position Summary

The PSV Academy is currently seeking a motivated Video Analysis Intern to support its technical staff. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in an elite football environment and contribute to the club’s player development objectives.

As an intern, you will explore how video analysis functions within a professional football setting, working with industry-standard tools and platforms. You’ll develop a deeper tactical understanding of the game and help translate footage into valuable insights for coaches and players.

Key Responsibilities

Post-match coding of youth academy games
Pre-match coding and analysis of upcoming opponents
Supporting coaches by tagging and analyzing training sessions
Live coding of academy matches
Maintaining and updating data libraries (e.g., goal databases)

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an MBO, HBO, or university-level program
Fields of study may include: Sports Science, Physical Education (ALO), Sports Management, Data Science, or related areas
Strong command of Dutch and English (written and verbal)
Affinity for football—ideally with a strong interest in PSV
Collaborative and proactive attitude
Analytical and detail-oriented
Strong communication skills
