Overview:
As a Junior Analyst within the First Team Football department at Al-Qadsiah Club, you will support the Senior Analyst by collecting, evaluating, and presenting performance data that informs tactical decisions. Your role will involve video tagging, live analysis, report creation, and technical insight, playing a vital part in preparing both match and training content.
Key Responsibilities:
Opposition Analysis
- Evaluate offensive and defensive set-piece strategies
- Identify and report on weaknesses in opponent structure
- Support report and presentation development for match strategy
Qadsiah Analysis
- Produce post-match set-piece analysis for internal review
- Create video presentations focusing on tactical situations
- Contribute to the preparation of the weekly coach report
Real-time Analysis (Training and Matches)
- Tag training drills and match phases live for analysis
- Operate analysis equipment including drones and cameras as needed
Other
- Stay current with professional development and role-related training
- Fulfill other reasonable duties aligned with team needs
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Performance Analysis or a related field
- Certification in Football Scouting & Analysis (e.g., PFSA, Barça Innovation Hub, FA Analysis Course)
Desirable:
- Master’s Degree in a related field
- UEFA Coaching License or formal tactical training
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Essential:
- Experience working as a performance analyst in a football environment
- Proficient in video tools like HUDL, Wyscout, or Sportscode
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient in creating actionable insights from football data
- Fluent in English
Desirable:
- Strong tactical understanding of playing models and systems
- Experience with data visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East
- Multilingual (Spanish, Arabic, English)
